I'm Yasmine - a Curly Hair Specialist and founder of Yasmine Byfield Hair.
With over 14 years of experience in hairdressing and a specialist focus on textured hair over the last 7 years, I help people understand, care for and embrace their natural waves, curls and coils.
My Journey
I began hairdressing at age 16 in 2013, following in my mom's footsteps. I trained in Birmingham and Wolverhampton, qualifying with NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Hairdressing through Walsall College. I then began working self-employed in 2019.
My relationship with curls is personal - I grew up not knowing how to care for my own natural hair, and spent years figuring it out through trial, error, and a lot of determination.
That experience is the foundation of the work I do today - helping people better understand and care for their own natural texture.
What I Do
My focus is on providing personalised curly and textured hair services for my existing clients, alongside sharing trusted haircare recommendations and occasional education.
